A shove-it means the board spins around during the trick, but you still face the same direction.

Foot positioning

First set up as if you were going to do an ollie. You can then tweak your feet slightly to make the trick a bit easier. This will depend if you are doing the trick frontside or backside.

  • For a frontside shove-it you'll want to move your front foot off the back of the board a bit so that you can push it out infront of you. Do the opposite with your back foot so that it can push the board behind you.
  • Backside is just the opposite: front foot is adjusted so that your toes hang off the front of the board, and your back foot shoul be moved back so your toes are on the tail.
